United Piping, Inc., began as United Piping Systems, Inc., in the early 1970s when it was founded by Eddie Conger. Eddie headed the company until 1993 when he sold it to four employees, and our employees have remained the backbone of our company ever since.
At United Piping, Inc., employees are family. Nearly every one of our more than 25 employees has been with the company for 15 years or more, and we work hard to make sure everyone receives the fair treatment they deserve. We believe that when employees feel trusted, cared for, and appreciated, they take more pride in their work and more pride in their company.
- System Estimator—requires a background in Fire Sprinkler System Design and familiarity with material and labor cost structures.
- System Designer—Requires familiarity with AutoCAD and SprinkCad design programs. A NICET Level 2 certification or higher is preferred.
- Pipe Fitter—Generally requires 3 years of experience as an apprentice
- Pipe Fitter’s Helper—Requires only a good attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to take direction. On the job training is provided
